Lady Greer has had five puppies, so far.  I am trying to keep them warm with a heating pad.  This has been a shock.  She did not want to go out this morning, so I kept her in her crate.  I had a feeling that she was pregnant.  However, I must have been off on the mating dates.  I kept feeding her lots of food.  All went straight to the puppies.  She was thin down her backbone.  So, I wanted to get the weight back on her. I think she has had one brindle female and one brindle male, a wheaten male, amd two black females.

My 33-year-old horse has passed away.  I am looking for someone to bury her.  Please keep me in your prayers.

Annie has been spayed.  She refuses the medication she was given.  I have to force it down her throat.  There were cysts on her ovaries which kept her infertile and in constant heat.  I am grateful there was no tumor.

I have a large pasture, and I saw her down.  She had not passed away but could not get up.  I am waiting for my son to help me get her up. In the end, she was euthanized.

Happy three-week-old birthdays to Fiona’s puppies.  Their eyes are open.  I took pictures, but they are not very good.  They scamper around, and you can’t see the eyes at all of the black puppies.  I am in the process of deworming them.

The order of the puppies is:  wheaten, black male blue collar, black male green collar (Freddie) and black female.

I have come to the conclusion that Lady Greer’s pregnancy is false.  Her nipples are large; her belly is big; but there are no full mammary glands.  I also believe that Raven is not pregnant.  I am not sure about Lily yet.  However, with all these negative outcomes, I have bred Merlin with Isabella.  They could produce any color.  Merlin (black) has a grandsire that is a red wheaten.  Isabella has a granddam (Gracie) that is a silver brindle.  There will be some matings with my young Scotties late fall or winter.  I am disappointed for all those waiting patiently for one of my Scotties.  There will be other litters but later this year.

Fiona’s puppies give me a holler when I pick them up.  Fiona is ever watchful and doesn’t like for me to move them.

Annie’s bloodwork was good for all enzyme levels.

Fiona’s puppies turn two weeks old today.  Eyes are about to open.  I will be adding stuffed toys for sensory stimulation.

Annie is in a continuous heat cycle.  She may have a cyst on her ovaries.  Bloodwork was drawn today.  I am having her spayed next week.
